Structural Attachment - DSA
Designed to protect the pipe from seismic effects.
• The connection between the base part and the building is completed.
• The SCH40 1-inch pipe is placed at the bottom of the base part.
• The pipe is secured to the bottom of the base part using a clamp.
• A shear bolt is installed to fasten the clamp.
• Tighten the shear bolt until the head breaks off.

• Brace Pipe : 1” (25), Sch 10, Sch 40, GB/T 3091, JIS G3454
• Size : One size fits braced pipe up to 8" with M12 bolt hole for structure.
• Designed to protect the pipe from seismic effects.
• The break-off bolt head allows seismic braces to be easily installed and inspected.
• Used together with the structural attach- ment fitting, which is the pipe connection component, and creates a strong assembly when combined with the brace pipe.
• Must be installed in accordance with NFPA 13 standards and installation instructions.
