Steel Paint FR-1 is a low-emission, water-based, single-component intumescent steel coating that provides up to 60 minutes of fire resistance for load-bearing steel structures.
Protecta® Steel Paint FR-1 is a single-component, acrylic-based steel coating that provides up to 60 minutes of fire resistance for load-bearing steel structures. It requires neither a primer nor a topcoat and is easy to apply and clean.
Protecta® Steel Paint FR-1 is formulated with highly intumescent fillers that provide resistance to fire, heat and chemicals. It offers optimum fire resistance and has low emission levels to protect human health and the environment.
The product is a high-specification, acrylic-based interior coating that offers a distinctive colour finish. All colours are water based and provide a smooth, non-reflective appearance.
