FR Service Transit Cable / Pipe Penetration System
FR Service Transit is a fire-resistant transit pipe that expands when exposed to heat, sealing gaps around cable and plastic pipe penetrations and preventing the spread of flames, gases and smoke.
Protecta® FR Service Transit consists of a high-temperature-resistant circular plastic tube containing an intumescent material. The plastic tube contains a graphite-based expanding material that reacts to heat, sealing gaps around cables and pipes and preventing the passage of flames, gases and smoke.
The transit tube is available in three lengths: 150 mm, 250 mm and 400 mm. The appropriate length is selected according to the thickness of the supporting construction and the required fire classification. It is approved for PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC and PP pipes, as well as all cable types up to specified diameters.

- Has an unlimited shelf life under suitable storage conditions.
