FR Putty Pads Fire-Resistant Putty Pads
FR Putty Pads are mouldable sealing pads that insulate around service panels and electrical sockets in plasterboard walls, increasing fire resistance by up to 90 minutes while preventing the passage of sound and air.
Protecta® FR Putty Pads are easy-to-apply, non-setting sealing pads that provide fire resistance and sound insulation. Their mouldable structure allows them to be reused.
For tap-water service panels, Protecta® FR Putty Pads increase the fire resistance of plasterboard walls by up to 90 minutes. They prevent fire, smoke, flames, sound and air movement from passing through openings around wall panels.
For electrical sockets, they are designed for use with single and double electrical socket boxes in plasterboard walls. The pads are supplied in a cross shape for installation inside socket boxes and in a rectangular form for installation behind them.
