FR Putty Cord Fire-Resistant Putty Strip
FR Putty Cord is an easily mouldable sealing material that provides effective fire and sound insulation around service penetrations, particularly in small gaps unsuitable for conventional mastic applications.
Protecta® FR Putty Cord is designed to provide easy insulation around penetrations. It is particularly suitable for very small gaps around services and provides easy and effective insulation where conventional mastics cannot be applied or where sufficient depth and backing material are unavailable.
It is easy to apply, provides sound insulation and can be shaped quickly. The material can be moulded by hand to suit the application area and installed by pressing and compacting it into place.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Prevents the passage of hot and cold smoke.
- Has adhesive properties, is easy to apply and requires no tools.
- Unaffected by moisture.
- Remains flexible after application and does not harden, allowing it to be removed during future modifications.
