FR Pipe Wrap Firestopping Pipe Wrap

FR Pipe Wrap is an emission-free fire-insulation solution for plastic and insulated metal pipes up to Ø400 mm, providing up to four hours of fire resistance, certified for various pipe and cable applications, and guaranteed for a 30-year service life.

Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap consists of graphite-based material enclosed within a flexible plastic sleeve that expands when exposed to heat, filling the opening left by melting plastic pipes.

It can be used with plastic pipes (PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PE-HD, ABS and SAN+PVC), plastic pipe bundles, conduits with or without cables, and penetrating metal pipes with combustible insulation.

It is wrapped around the service pipe and secured with adhesive tape. The installation is then completed within the wall or floor opening by tightly fitting Protecta® FR Board or pouring Protecta® Ex Mortar.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap is used to provide fire-resistance performance in flexible wall constructions, rigid wall constructions and rigid floor constructions penetrated by various metal pipe services.

It can be used with Protecta® Ex Mortar and Protecta® FR Board and can be applied with or without combustible insulation and plastic pipes.
