FR Collar Fire-Resistant Pipe Collar

A surface-mounted firestop collar that expands during a fire to seal the cavity left by melting plastic pipes or cables, featuring a white-painted steel housing and a graphite-based intumescent inner layer.

Protecta® FR Collar consists of two parts: a white-painted steel outer casing and a graphite-based intumescent material.

This steel casing wraps around plastic pipes (PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC, and PP pipe bundles) as well as cables and cable bundles. The collar features a simple and reliable locking system.

The inside of the steel casing contains a graphite-based material with heat-reactive properties. In the event of a fire, it expands to seal the cavity left by the melting plastic pipe or cable. It can be surface-mounted on walls or floors and is suitable for single-sided application.
